FL-18®The FL-18 boasts features and performance previously not available on a three-color flasher depth finder / fish finder. The FL-18 offers a patented split screen flasher display. This allows you to zoom-in on the bottom six feet while watching the entire water column at the same time in real time! You will be amazed at the performance for bass fishing, walleye fishing, and pan fish on both open water and ice fishing. The Bottom Lock feature stays locked on the bottom even as the boat is bouncing up and down in big waves! The Auto Zoom mode is fantastic for watching Perch or Walleye while ice fishing. These fish commonly hold tight on the bottom, and with a target ID of less than 1/2 inch, the FL-18 makes them easy to spot!
And that's not all. The FL-18 depth finder / fish finder is equipped with features like a built-in shallow water mode for fishing waters under 15 feet. Five depth scales down to 200 feet for the standard model, and down to 300 feet for the custom deep model. Built-in interference rejection. A three color LED readout that tells you if the targets you see are weak (green) medium (orange) or strong (red). This three color LED technology has proven to be the most reliable and accurate way of understanding where fish are holding.

Instant FeedbackDid you know that you can easily install a puck transducer to the bottom your trolling motor or even to the bottom of your glass boat for your Vexilar flasher? It's pretty simple! A lot of anglers think ice fishing when you speak of Vexilar. Why wouldn't any angler want the same detail you can get while ice fishing for open water fishing? If you can see a tiny split shot on your screen when fishing on hard water, just think of what you can see with a Vexilar flasher!
I've long believed the Vexilar flasher is superior to any graph of any kind for most open water fishing. The biggest advantage is the real time...what I see is what's down there NOW. That's why I installed the puck transducer to my bow mount trolling motor for my Vexilar FL-18 in the bow. This is where I do much of my walleye fishing. When I spot a fish on the Vexilar FL-18, I know it's right below the trolling motor, and there's a good probability my bait will pass right past the fish, as well as the baits of those in the back of the boat, assuming I maintain the same course.

FL-18 on StructureSummer use of the FL-18 is truly the only unit I will use when fishing mid-lake structure for walleyes. The smallest details when walleye fishing may make or break your day, and the instantaneous reading that I get from my FL-18 tells me exactly where that fish is holding on the structure.
